Char built North Node Journeys because she had to—the tug of connecting people to Africa and other remote corners of the planet wouldn’t relent. It’s no exaggeration when she says that travel is transformative; that it can steer the course of your life. And every safari she crafts and plans is designed with this truth in mind.
Having lived and worked as a safari specialist in East Africa for 10 years, Char was constantly in search of the remote, wild and the beautiful. Along the way, she met people who by birthright are the true experts and have welcomed her into their world in the most unexpected and wonderful ways. They’ve shared with her places that are not in the travel guides; experiences that you cannot research. They’ve given her access to places that few have visited and introduced her to undreamed of adventure — and now she gets to share all of that with you.
